Bonnie-HarrisBonnie Harris

Bonnie received her dance training from the Sawnee School of Ballet under the direction of Joan Kall Stewart. She performed leading roles as a Company Member of the Sawnee Ballet Theatre in productions of The Nutcracker, Swan Lake, Cinderella, Sleeping Beauty, Alice & Wonderland, and Les Sylphides. While studying for her BBA in Marketing at Georgia State University, Bonnie continued dancing with Studio Dionne, where she performed in various performances including the Grand Pas de Deux from Don Quixote. After graduating, Bonnie began her musical theatre career with Atlanta Lyric Theatre in their productions of The Producers, Guys & Dolls, Sophisticated Ladies, and Spamalot. Some favorite roles with Atlanta Lyric Theatre include Victoria (White Cat) in CATS and Liz in Chicago. Bonnie has also performed for Tuacahn Center for the Arts in Ivins, UT for their productions of Beauty & the Beast, Disney’s ‘When You Wish’, and Sister Act.

Jenna-JacksonJenna Jackson

Jenna Jackson graduated Magna Cum Laude from Oklahoma City University and received a Bachelor of Science Degree in American Dance Pedagogy. This degree focused primarily on teaching, business, and dance technique and also included dance history, choreography, anatomy and physiology, dance health and much more. Jenna interned at Broadway Dance Center in New York City. She also served as an assistant for the Radio City Rockette Summer Intensive and assisted workshops for The PULSE on Tour and Hoctor’s Dance Caravan. After graduating from OCU, she performed overseas on the island of Guam in Dream at the Sandcastle Theater. She was not only a dancer in the show, but also worked closely with live tigers and performed various stunts as a magic assistant. She appeared on an episode of Extreme Makeover Home Edition and danced alongside Kristin Chenoweth during a Broadway themed episode. Jenna has performed in recent productions in the Atlanta area including Catch Me If You Can, Damn Yankees and Young Frankenstein at the Atlanta Lyric Theatre as well as Evita at Serenbe Playhouse. Jenna has taught dance all over the United States and overseas and is thrilled for the opportunity to share her passion with students at the Lyric Dance Extension!

Becky-SimmonsBecky Simmons

Becky is thrilled to be teaching this weekend’s master class for the Lyric Studio! She received her BA in Dance from the University of Alabama. She is a magicians assistant for Mark Robinson and teaches dance at Impact Dance of Atlanta. Favorite Lyric credits include Young Frankenstein, Catch Me if You Can, The Producers, Thoroughly Modern Millie, 42nd Street, Beauty and The Beast, and Hairspray. She is so thankful for her very supportive husband and parents who help out so much with their two precious boys! Thanks Brandt for casting me in another one of your fabulous shows and for allowing me to be Dance Captain!  God bless and Roll Tide!

Jennifer is a teacher, choreographer, actor, singer, and dancer originally from Huntsville, AL. She began her dance training at Performing Dance Arts, and was a member of their Danz Artz Company for many years. She continued her training at the University of Alabama and was a company member of Dance Alabama. She lived in NYC for 3 years and continued to study dance at Steps, Broadway Dance Center and New Dance Group under many dance greats, such as Frank Hatchett, Stephen Harding and Brenda Bufalino. As a choreographer and dancer, Jennifer’s work has been presented in various productions all over the country. She most recently choreographed Atlanta Lyric Theatre’s hit production of Cats at the Cobb Energy Centre of Performing Arts. Other Atlanta Lyric Theatre choreography credits are Damn Yankees, White Christmas, Annie, and Young Frankenstein. Jennifer was also the choreographer for the Atlanta Symphony POPS! past 2 productions of A Very Merry Holiday Pops as well as Classic Soul. As an actor, she has performed with The Gallery Players (NYC), Alliance Theatre Company (Atl), Theatreworks (National Tour), Atlanta Lyric Theatre, Theatre in the Square (Atl), and many others across the country. Favorite roles include Miss Dorothy (Thoroughly Modern Millie), Erma (Anything Goes), Lucy (You’re a Good Man, Charlie Brown), Rosie (Bye Bye Birdie), and Sister Amnesia (Nunsense). In NYC, she co-coordinated “Behind the Scenes Broadway,” an education program through which students workshop material with Broadway performers and choreographers. Jennifer has been teaching dance and acting for over 19 years now, and she holds a B.A. in Theatre and Dance from The University of Alabama.
